Reset or change your password
Who and before: Email/password accounts. Social sign-in credentials are managed with the provider.
Start: Sign In > Forgot password?, or Profile > Login & Security > Change Password.
Steps:
1. For recovery, submit your account email on Forgot password?, open the reset message in your mailbox, and enter and confirm a new password on the linked form.
2. For a signed-in change, enter the current password, new password and confirmation in Change Password; submit the form.
3. Use Cancel to abandon a change. After a successful reset, return to Sign In and use the new password.
Result and check: A success message confirms the form completed; successful sign-in confirms access.
Limits and recovery: A generic reset-email response does not prove an account exists or that mail arrived. Request a fresh link if expired. If you cannot access the mailbox, contact official support without sending passwords or one-time codes. No universal “sign out every device” result is promised.
