Buying, selling and rent-to-buy: homes, houses, event spaces, cars and other vehicles
Purchase and Rent-to-Own options must be enabled for the listing and supported by its category. Homes, event spaces and licensed vehicle categories are rental-only; bicycles and other eligible items may offer purchase options. Only eligible recorded rental payments contribute under the listing's saved credit terms. Not all rent becomes credit, and ownership changes only after the purchase is completed.
Homes, including houses and apartments, and event spaces are rental-only on Life4Rent: you cannot buy them, list them for sale or use rent-to-buy for them here. Licensed vehicle categories, including cars, luxury cars, sports cars, SUVs, electric cars, vans, minivans, trucks, pickup trucks, motorcycles, boats, yachts, jet skis, sailboats, RVs, campers, ATVs and snowmobiles, are also rental-only: sale and rent-to-buy are unavailable. This is not a ban on selling all vehicles: non-licensed vehicle categories such as bicycles can offer buying options. All other marketplace categories support offering sale or rent-to-buy, including Cameras & Drones (such as cameras), Tools & Equipment and Electronics. Whether an individual item can be bought still depends on the owner enabling the option and the listing showing it. A general Buy Now or checkout guide does not override the rental-only category restrictions. For an eligible item, review the offered price and terms and use its protected purchase flow; for a rental-only category, look for rental listings instead.
