Write and publish Instructions & Rules

Who and before: The owner of an existing listing; use only content you are entitled to share.
Start: My Listings > the listing's Instructions & Rules action, or the create-form option to add a guide afterward.
Steps:
1. Write public rules and a non-sensitive public return summary separately from booking-only/sensitive instructions.
2. Add the appropriate section kind, choose a suggested title or your own, and write your own steps. Titles are suggestions, not platform-written rules.
3. Add supported images/PDFs and captions through the guide uploader. Move sections/steps, replace/remove attachments and confirm removals.
4. Preview public versus booking access. Save Draft for unfinished work; use the publish/save action to make the intended revision current.
5. Reopen to check the saved revision. Use History to inspect/restore a previous revision, then save deliberately.
Result and check: The intended public summary and authorized private guide appear in their respective views.
Limits and recovery: Draft recovery and version conflicts require deliberate choices; preserve text before discard/overwrite. Do not move sensitive attachments into public sections. Host-authored text is not automatically translated. A downloaded private file cannot be recalled from a recipient's device.

How do I create an Instructions & Rules guide?

Frequently asked questions

As an owner, you can author guides for your listings via the Instructions & Rules action. You should write public rules separately from private, booking-only instructions to ensure sensitive information remains protected. Use the guide uploader to add sections, images, or PDFs, and preview your changes before publishing. Be sure to save your work deliberately, as version conflicts may require you to choose between draft revisions.
