Put a payment method on file for a booking
Who and before: The booking participant shown the secure method-on-file step.
Start: The booking's Secure Payment/payment-method prompt.
Steps:
1. Read the disclosure explaining what authorization is being requested.
2. Choose an eligible existing verified method, or Add card and complete the protected card setup form.
3. Alternatively choose the offered PayPal setup and approve it on PayPal's own screen.
4. Confirm the disclosure and linking action as shown; after returning, check the method is linked to this booking.
5. Use Skip only if the screen actually offers it; it may not satisfy a required booking condition.
Result and check: The booking shows the linked verified method/status.
Limits and recovery: Method setup, an authorization and paying the rental are different actions. The ordinary Profile saved-card manager is not established as available, so do not promise add/default/remove-card controls there. If linking is uncertain, check the booking before repeating setup. Never give payment credentials to Leo.
