Open receipts, invoices and protected booking links
Who and before: The booking/purchase participant or holder of a valid, purpose-specific guest link.
Start: Booking details > invoices/receipts, Purchases, or the genuine receipt email.
Steps:
1. Open the correct transaction and use its receipt/invoice download controls.
2. If prompted, sign in to the account that owns the record. Keep the original link private.
3. On the native app, wait for the protected download/open/share action and choose a safe destination; on the web, check Downloads or the opened file.
4. Open the saved file to check the transaction, currency and document type.
Result and check: The actual readable document is available, not a sign-in page saved as a file.
Limits and recovery: A receipt is not necessarily a tax invoice, and an invoice does not establish settlement. Expired/consumed guest links cannot always be safely revived. Use Retry or contact support with a non-sensitive reference; do not forward access tokens. A share chooser closing does not prove the recipient received/read the file.
