Check home compliance and registration numbers
Who and before: Home hosts whose location has an applicable checklist or registration prompt.
Start: My Listings' compliance/registration notice, Host compliance, or Edit listing > registration field.
Steps:
1. Open the affected listing and read its jurisdiction-specific checklist.
2. Enter the real registration/permit number, or truthfully select an offered exemption or Application pending option.
3. Save and reopen the listing/checklist to inspect the result.
4. For a reminder email, open its legitimate listing-edit continuation, sign in as the owner and update that listing.
5. Use the relevant authority/source link for current local rules.
Result and check: The listing record/checklist reflects the saved information; later reminders should follow the actual eligibility.
Limits and recovery: A completion badge is not a legal licence, and no platform-wide rule that every missing field blocks bookings is promised. Country-only or uncertain locality may not establish a city rule. If the authority/location is wrong, correct the location rather than fabricating a number. Use support when the protected email link expires or identifies another account.
