Set the real listing location and meeting point

Who and before: Owners creating/editing a listing; fixed-location and movable items have different choices.
Start: The listing editor's location fields.
Steps:
1. Search for and select the real address/place using the offered suggestions and locality selection.
2. Review the map coordinates and the exact-location acknowledgement/choice. Correct both text and selected location if you change the address.
3. For movable categories, set a meeting point when offered. For fixed locations such as homes, use the actual location.
4. Save and reopen to confirm the intended city/locality and location information.
Result and check: The saved location matches your intended place.
Limits and recovery: Full written and handover addresses are protected until qualifying booking/purchase access, but the saved exact map pin remains public. Do not promise an approximate pin or complete location secrecy. Typed replacement text is not validated by an old pin. If location selection is missing or rejected, reselect a current suggestion; do not use an unrelated city to bypass validation.

Frequently asked questions

Use the listing editor to search for and select the real address of your property. While the exact map pin remains public, written address details are protected until a booking is secured. Ensure the selected location is accurate, as changing the address requires correcting both the text and the map pin. Do not use incorrect locations to bypass validation requirements.
