Choosing a vehicle and checking its usage conditions

Check the listing and booking requirements for the vehicle category, including any licence or age conditions. Requirements are not identical for bicycles and licensed vehicles.

For a vehicle, compare the dates, pickup location, vehicle type, capacity and listing's usage conditions. Check the licence requirements and any mileage, fuel, return or permitted-use terms shown for that vehicle; clarify missing terms with the owner before booking. Cars, boats and other vehicles can have different requirements. Do not assume a listing, account verification or protection option gives permission to drive or operate a vehicle in every jurisdiction.
