Life4Rent availability guide for AI readers

This is technical documentation, not a listing, availability result, quote or reservation. The existing public calendar check accepts dates in an ordinary URL. It returns its result in the initial HTML: no JavaScript, sign-in, date-picker interaction or form submission is required.

1. Discover a public listing

Start at Explore rentals or its public listing catalog. Follow the actual listing/detail links returned there. Explore supports keyword, city, country and category searches; retain the parameter names and category identifiers advertised by the page. Follow continuation links when present. Only published public listings are eligible. A missing listing is not proof that its dates are booked.

For apartments, houses, rooms and holiday homes, use category=homes. Life4Rent is not limited to tools and equipment. Add the requested startDate, endDate, adults, children and infants to Explore's URL; its search, category, continuation and availability links retain those values. Search results remain candidates: follow each selected listing's dated availability link to obtain the actual calendar result. Timed rentals also require pickupTime and returnTime in the listing's local time. Do not infer availability from search membership or perform checks for the whole inventory.

The listing's availability link identifies its public listing ID. The undated page is the starting state, not a completed check. Listing titles, photographs and base prices alone do not establish availability.

2. Request the dates and guest counts

Replace every brace-delimited placeholder below with the chosen listing ID and the requested values. This is a URL template, not a live result or an example of available dates:

https://life4rent.app/ai/listings/{listing_id}/availability?startDate={YYYY-MM-DD}&endDate={YYYY-MM-DD}&adults={adults}&children={children}&infants={infants}&lang=et
Public URL parameters
startDateRequired for a check: start date; check-in for homes, in YYYY-MM-DD format.
endDateRequired together with startDate: end date; checkout for homes, in YYYY-MM-DD format.
adultsWhole number, at least 1. Defaults to 1 if omitted.
childrenWhole number, at least 0. Defaults to 0 if omitted.
infantsWhole number, at least 0. Defaults to 0 if omitted.
pickupTime / returnTimeFor timed rentals, both local times are required in HH:MM format. Do not add times to date-based rentals. Listing-specific duration, notice and capacity rules still apply.
langResponse language. Supported codes: en, fr, de, es, it, pt, nl, pl, ru, zh-CN, ja, ko, ar, tr, sv, da, no, fi, cs, el, hu, ro, et, hi, id.

Use the renter's actual party, not an assumed capacity. A result for one adult does not establish availability for a larger party. For homes, check-in 10 November and checkout 12 November covers two nights. Timed rentals and other categories have different duration rules.

The same read-only endpoint also returns JSON by replacing /availability? with /availability.json? and retaining the complete query. The HTML result is in pre#availability-result; the equivalent JSON object is calendar_result. Both formats use the existing calendar and booking rules; neither creates a booking.

3. Interpret the actual response

Fields in the calendar result
listingId, listingTitle, listingUrlThe public listing actually checked. Match its ID and title to the selected listing before reporting a result. Never attach one listing's calendar to another listing's name or location.
checkIn, checkOut, guestsThe exact selection checked. Compare it with the request.
nightsNight count for homes with dates; null when not applicable.
status / availableavailable with true: dates and guest details passed current calendar and booking rules. unavailable with false: the requested selection did not pass. Other states have null, not a guessed true or false.
checkedAtTimestamp of the completed check. Null means there is no completed confirmation.
ownerApprovalRequiredSeparate from calendar availability. Available dates may still require the owner's approval.
reservationCreatedfalse: this read-only check has not created or confirmed a reservation.

not_requested means no date-specific check was requested. needs_times means a timed rental needs pickup and return times. unable_to_verify means no availability conclusion can be drawn. An HTTP error, inaccessible URL, missing listing or an undated fallback must not be reported as booked or available.

A successful result with owner approval required means: “Dates currently available; owner approval required. No booking has been made.” Without that requirement: “Dates currently available; no booking has been made.” Approval requirements do not prevent a calendar check.

4. Refresh and continue booking

Follow the returned “Check these same dates again” link for a fresh check. Verify that the returned dates and guest counts still match and that the check timestamp is current. Availability responses use no-store headers; a previously retrieved answer is not evidence of current availability. If retrieval fails, retain the requested URL and any returned request reference for diagnosis; returning to the undated page does not resolve the failed retrieval.

For the renter, use the returned user_booking_url / “Continue to listing and booking” link, not this guide or the technical availability page. It leads to the normal listing with the selected dates and party. The installed app may handle that listing link where supported; otherwise it opens on the web. Booking requires an account and the renter's action. Checkout rechecks availability, eligibility, price, payment and any owner approval. Never request passwords, verification codes or payment credentials through this public interface.

5. Existing MCP connector

Clients already connected to the public Life4Rent MCP server can use search_listings and get_listing_details for discovery, then check_listing_availability. Its existing input uses listing_id, dates: {start_date, end_date} and optional party: {adults, children, infants}. The MCP date keys use underscores; the public URL date keys use camel case.

The tool returns availability.status (including matched_date_filters, unavailable, unverified or not_requested), availability.requested_dates, availability.checked_at, booking_mode and a booking_url. Successful date matching is advisory, not a reservation; read any returned limitations. No MCP connection is required for the public HTML method above. This guide does not change any MCP tools or booking rules.

Kirje saadavuse kontrollimine

See on värske kalendri ja broneerimisreeglite kontroll, mitte broneering, hinnapakkumine ega broneeringu kinnitus. Saadavus võib muutuda. Väljaregistreerimisel tuleb uuesti kontrollida, sealhulgas konto sobivust, makset ja omaniku vajalikku heakskiitu. Uue vastuse saamiseks külastage seda lehte uuesti; ärge kirjeldage varasemat tulemust kehtivana.
